Easy to use outdoor navigation app with up-to-date topographic maps of New Zealand, Cook Islands, and Tokelau. This application offers a variety of mapping features akin to those found in Garmin or Magellan GPS handheld devices.

Main features for outdoor navigation include the ability to create and edit waypoints, navigate to specific waypoints, track recording with speed, elevation, and accuracy profiles, tripmaster functionality with fields for odometer, average speed, bearing, and elevation, GPX import/export, KML export, search functionality for place names, points of interest, and streets, customizable data fields in Map View and Tripmaster (e.g., speed, distance, compass), sharing options for waypoints, tracks, or routes via email or social media, support for coordinates in UTM, WGS84 or MGRS formats, and more.

Available base map layers encompass Topomaps New Zealand with seamless coverage at scales 1:250,000 and 1:50,000, NZMariner RNC Nautical Charts, LINZ Aerial Imagery, Google Maps including satellite images, road maps, and terrain maps, Open Street Maps, Bing Maps, and ESRI Maps.

Overlay layers feature public conservation areas, open hunting areas, DOC camp sites and restrictions for freedom camping, DOC huts and tracks, Taupo Trout Fishing Districts, as well as hillshading.

This navigation application caters to outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, camping, climbing skiing, canoeing, or off-road 4WD tours. Users can preload free map data for areas without cellular service in the Pro version.

The topographic maps were developed by Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) with Topo50 being the official topographic map series used by New Zealand emergency services.

Additionally, it is instrumental in location services for Search and Rescue operations as well as by entities like ambulance services and police departments. Moreover, this information aids in land management strategies employed by local governments and utility companies.

All topographic maps feature additional labels for enhanced readability at higher zoom levels and are rendered with Atlogis® hillshading to accentuate the terrain.

Topo Map Coverage includes New Zealand and surrounding islands at scales 1:50,000 and 1:250.000; Cook Islands at scale 1:25.000; Tokelau Islands at scale 1:25.000.
